An opportunity for a customer services professioanl based in Cyprus. This role is a combination of talking to A Place in the Sun enquiries, assisting with their property searches and introducing them to our currency service; and liaising with our network of international estate agent partners on the ground, providing their buyers & sellers with support when transferring their funds internationally.
The role in Cyprus combines remote (home-based) and field-based responsibilities.

This role involves assisting our busy compliance team with vetting and approving clients and their transactions, in line with AML regulations and internal policies and procedures. Training will be given, but a background in compliance or regulated financial services risk is required.

Noam joined our main desk in 2025, having worked previously in the currency and payment sector. His role is to look after clients both buying and selling overseas property, ensuring they achieve their financial goals and make their money go further.

With a wealth of experience in financial services and payments in particular, Lisa joined our busy compliance department in 2025 to provide additional capacity for processing clients’ payments.

Erin joined our administration & client onboarding team in 2025. Already a key member of the team, Erin helps to ensure clients’ trading facilities are set up and ready to use, as well as assisting with property agent relations and general administration.

Joining our currency team on the ground in Spain in summer 2025, Nicky is an experienced, versatile and friendly face helping buyers and sellers in person and on the phone in the Costa Blanca.

Sandra (Sandy) runs our Costa Blanca office in Cabo Roig, as well as spending time helping property buyers, whether on the phone or in person. You’ll be hard pushed to find a friendlier face in all of Spain!

Partnership Manager
Elliot joined the A Place in the Sun Currency team in Spain in 2023, bringing fluent Spanish and a friendly approach to the Spanish team. He spends most of his time looking after a growing network of partner estate agents, lawyers and developers on the Costa del Sol, introducing our service to British buyers and sellers of Spanish property.

Based in our Costa Blanca office, Luke looks after a variety of estate agents and lawyers who have clients to introduce to A Place in the Sun Currency. Luke and the Spanish team are on hand to help with any currency requirements for buyers, owners and sellers of overseas property in Spain.

Helen joined the UK team at A Place in the Sun Currency in 2022, and looks after a variety of partner estate agents and lawyers to ensure their clients can benefit from our service. Fluent in French and Spanish, Helen makes regular trips overseas and is on hand to work with overseas property professionals around the world.

Sam joined A Place in the Sun Currency in 2023, and is responsible for our anti-money laundering framework, internal risk controls and ultimately making sure our service is only used for legitimate purposes.
